I'm happy to showcase this newly completed ring! I'm happy to showcase this newly completed ring! This is not available for purchase, as it is a ring I made for someone special in my life. Sharing this to show my new leaf design and to mention that I am still making jewelry. My summer was quite hectic, making it difficult to find time for jewelry and pottery.
I’ve just added a small batch of mugs to my websho I’ve just added a small batch of mugs to my webshop! I have fallen way behind on my planned batches as I help my children begin their new "adult" lives (they still feel like my babies), and all of these new beginnings seem to be happening all at once and taking a lot of my time. At the same time, I am trying to manage urgent repairs needed in our old farmhouse before winter sets in. I'm also gearing up to search for a job now that my time as a homeschooling mom has come to an end. My goal is to create at least one more small batch of pottery and finish a few pieces of jewelry before December. It may not seem like much, but that’s the reality of life for me right now.

Having just completed the intricate carvings, I am thrilled with its progress and the depth it possesses. My intention is to allow it to rest for a few days, then proceed with handpainting it, which will breathe life into the flora and fauna, transforming this vessel into a little masterpiece.

🌿 I hope everyone is having a great summer! This 🌿 I hope everyone is having a great summer! This isn't my typical post, but nature really inspires my creativity, and it’s just breathtaking. These pictures are from my family’s hiking adventure we had yesterday. I had planned this trip back at the tail end of winter, which gave me something exciting to anticipate. By March, even though I love winter sports, the lack of sunlight and continued cold starts to affect my mood and overall well-being. It was even better than we imagined! We climbed huge rock formations and navigated very narrow trails that twisted around and under them. The photos really can't capture just how incredible and awe-inspiring everything was, and we found ourselves acting like kids/teenagers again. It reminded me of the adventures I used to have in the woods with my siblings when we were young. It was such a delight to see my girls not only notice the larger things but also enjoy touching the moss, find mushrooms along the way, and appreciate all the little details that usually go unnoticed. It was a proud mommy moment for me! I’ll be starting my next creative batch next week. Wishing you all a wonderful week! ☀️
