Moth Vase

A beautiful array of moths have been engraved and handpainted around this vase. The moths included is the luna moth, rosy maple moth, atlas moth and white ermine moth.

This is a wheel thrown mug using a lightly speckled cream clay. The rim has been engraved as well. Then a pretty green glaze has been added to rim and inside of vase. The lower part of vase has been left unglazed to feel the texture of the clay.
Standing at 5 inches tall with a 3 1/4-inch opening, I think of it as a smaller vase, ideal for shorter bouquets that won’t obstruct your view of family across the table.
It is dishwasher safe.
